Digital Transformation (DT) Course

Overview

The CDRP® is a 2-day course is designed to expose attendants to the overall risk management process. Focus is on both the data centre infrastructure and the physical data centre facility and equipment; the attendant will learn how to identify and quantify risk in their organization, creating the ability to reduce the risk to a level acceptable for the organization. The course is based on international standards (ISO/IEC27001:2005) and guidelines (ISO/IEC27005:2011, NIST800-30, ISO/IEC31000) and will additionally prepare the candidate being able to take part and assist in corporate certification processes that may apply.

This course is perfect for companies that want to work better with digital technologies and need a bit of direction to focus their energy.  Your organisation may be:

  • A business, organisation or government agency that feels like it has fallen behind in the use of technology and wants to set a (new) strategy.
  • An organisation that is looking to modernise internal processes and systems, to make them more efficient and/or future-proof.

After completion of the course the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss these technologies confidently with vendors and make well-informed decisions for your organisation on the strategy, which includes selection of technology/solutions to implement at the right time and for the right purpose in this fast paced digital landscape to ensure the business remains relevant, competitive and sustainable

This course is lectured by an EPI Certified Instructor using a combination of lectures and question-and-answer sessions to discuss participants’ specific needs and issues experienced in their own environment.  Participants are able to tap into the trainer’s extensive experience to enable them to solve practical problems in their current environment, thus gaining tremendous value.

The Digital Transformation course is available in the following delivery methods:

  • ILT – Instructor Led Training (upon request)
  • VILT – Virtual ILT (upon request)
  • TOD – Training On Demand (available)

The Digital Transformation exam is optional. The exam is a 45-minute exam, with 25 multiple-choice question and available online. The passing rate is a minimum of 15 correct answers and the results are known immediately.

Certification is an option.  Candidates who successfully pass the exam will receive an EPI Certicate of Achievement upon passing the exam. The certication is valid for three years after which the student needs to re-certify.
